Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session will provide an overview of the quality control and assurance procedures being taken in Cinder, specifically through third party CI. We will explain how the CI systems work, and what they test. We’ll also talk about why this benefits the end users and operators as well as discuss some of the challenges and learnings encountered along the way. This presentation will not be focused on a single vendor or driver, but is meant to discuss various drivers including the reference LVM driver.

Key Take-aways for Attendees:

  • Understand the development workflow for Cinder (with an emphasis on quality)

  • Understand how Cinder tests and ensure interoperability with a large number of storage providers

  • Understand the emphasis on compatibility requirements for heterogeneous storage environments in OpenStack/Cinder
